Punya Kaufeler trained as a designer at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich and worked as a graphic designer, media expert and technical assistant in advertising agencies and publishers in Milan, Geneva, Zurich and Lugano.

She has also worked as a translator and customer fulfilment agent in Europe and the UK in English, German, Italian and French.
